Ellen J. Park, Partner

Ellen is a native of New York City.  She grew up in Flushing, Queens, graduated from Bronx High School of Science and New York University.  After graduating from Hofstra Law School in 1998, she worked for law firms specializing in the area of Insurance Defense, gaining immense trial and litigation experience prior to starting and joining Ma & Park.  Since the inception of Ma & Park, Ellen has handled numerous real estate closings and landlord-tenant cases and personal injury cases.

Richard J. Ma, Partner

Richard worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office for over four years, during which he handled the entire gamut of cases, including felony drug sales, homicides, assaults, robberies and DWI’s.  As a prosecutor, Richard was quickly promoted to handle homicides within the Grand Jury Bureau and was then promoted to the Narcotics Bureau, where he specialized in the investigation and prosecution of felony narcotics crimes.  He went on to private practice and worked for law firms specializing in Personal Injury, Aviation, Commercial Litigation and Entertainment and Employment law. 

Richard J. Ma currently specializes in Criminal Defense, Commercial Litigation and Landlord-Tenant matters, and is also experienced in personal injury and mass toxic tort litigation.
